Create and share an event

Publish accurate sale dates, locations, participants, flyers, and QR posters.

Organize

Before creating an event

Event creation is available on plans with the event feature. Confirm the current plan and price on Pricing before relying on event tools for a scheduled sale.

Enter and verify the public details

  • Use a clear event name and description, safe public location label, and correct start and end values.
  • Use the dedicated arrival fields for parking, accessibility, pickup, and the organizer's weather contingency. Leave an optional field empty instead of publishing placeholder guidance.
  • Choose the IANA timezone where the event happens. Forsale stores UTC instants and consistently renders that named timezone across devices, Browse, email, flyers, posters, and calendar downloads.
  • New events are private Drafts. Use the authenticated buyer preview, then choose Publish event deliberately. Drafts never appear in public discovery, notifications, calendar downloads, or the sitemap.
  • Confirm participant permission and each linked storefront's public readiness.

Share only after verification

  1. Open Preview buyer view and confirm the date, time, timezone, location, description, participants, and visible inventory.
  2. Publish the event once it is ready, then test Directions, Add to Calendar, Share, and any flyer QR before generating a flyer or poster.
  3. Scan or open the final destination before printing, posting, or sending it.
