Protect location and personal information

• Use a public or approximate pickup-area label until an exact location is necessary and safe to share.
• Remove addresses, documents, faces, license plates, school details, and other private information from listing photos.
• Never share passwords, one-time codes, bank login details, or identity documents in messages or support email.

Avoid prohibited or suspicious activity

Do not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, hazardous, regulated, or otherwise prohibited items. Be cautious with pressure, overpayment, courier pickup, unusual payment methods, and requests to move a transaction into an unsafe channel.

Report a listing or policy problem

1. Use Report Listing on the affected public item when available so the report keeps the correct item context.
2. For account, event, review, or broader policy concerns, contact support with the public page link and a factual description.
3. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services instead of waiting for marketplace support.

Understand ratings

Verified Purchase reviews are linked to a completed Forsale checkout for that buyer and storefront, while older legacy feedback is labeled unverified and excluded from the verified rating. Verification confirms a completed transaction, not safety or endorsement. Seller responses are attributable, and anyone can report abusive, misleading, or privacy-invasive review content for moderation.

High-volume seller responsibilities

High-volume marketplace sellers may have identity, contact, tax, and disclosure duties under laws such as the INFORM Consumers Act. Stripe onboarding can collect some payout and identity details, but it does not replace the seller's responsibility to understand applicable law.
