Use a recognizable public identity

Choose a storefront name and description that help buyers recognize the sale without revealing private account information. Use a clear hero image only when you own it and it does not expose faces, documents, plates, or an unshared address.

Set a privacy-safe pickup area

A city, neighborhood, park, school, or other public landmark is usually enough for discovery. Share an exact private address only through the appropriate transaction and pickup process when it is truly needed. Verify the public map and label before opening the storefront.

Choose checkout options

Cash checkout creates a request for the seller to manage. Card checkout appears only when Stripe setup and storefront settings are ready. Keep disabled options disabled rather than promising a payment path that buyers cannot finish.

Choose visibility and verify

Hidden keeps the storefront out of public browsing. Browse Only lets buyers view live inventory without cart access. Open for Shopping enables eligible cart and checkout actions. Save the chosen mode, open the public page, and verify every visible detail before sharing.

Share one tested destination

Copy the storefront link or create its QR poster, then test the destination from a second browser or device. If the sale is part of a community event, verify the event page and linked storefront there too.
