Choose a search area

Forsale labels the area used for results. Choose a ZIP area, allow a browser location only when you want to, move the map, or deliberately view all inventory. Change the area when results are not relevant rather than assuming every listing is nearby.

Verify the listing and sale

Check the photos, condition, price, quantity, seller, public pickup area, storefront mode, and enabled checkout options. Open the storefront or event page for schedule and location context before planning travel.

Build and review the cart

Cart items are grouped by storefront because checkout and pickup belong to a seller. Recheck quantity and availability, then sign in or finish the required account profile before requesting checkout.

Understand cash and card

A cash checkout sends a request and reserves eligible tracked quantity for seller review; approval is not the same as completion. Card checkout sends you through the available payment flow. Follow the current checkout page for status, cancellation, payment, and pickup instructions.

Keep pickup safe

Inspect the item, communicate through appropriate channels, meet in a safe setting, and do not send passwords, verification codes, or full card details. Use reporting and support when a listing or transaction seems unsafe.
